During the Covid-19 lockdowns, we partnered with our client to refresh industry-facing content and streamline key processes, creating a more engaging way to connect with the travel trade at a time when in-person experiences were impossible. As part of the project, we produced immersive VR video content showcasing six iconic Nova Scotia destinations and themes, including Burntcoat Head, Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove, Tidal Bore Rafting, Halifax, and the Wine Valley region. To bring the experience directly to audiences, we also developed flat-pack VR headsets that were easy, affordable to mail, and helped bring the destination to life.

With this new content ready to launch, we needed an inventive way to reach the industry during lockdown. Our team identified an opportunity to create a virtual event that would appeal to both travel professionals and families adapting to home-schooling: “Bring Your Kids to Nova Scotia.” In partnership with a media publication, we promoted the event and developed a lively programme featuring interviews with local voices from Nova Scotia, alongside educational segments on fossils, extreme tides, and whale species to keep children engaged. We also delivered the full suite of campaign assets, including HTML emails, website banners, and the event running order, helping turn a challenging moment into a memorable and highly shareable destination experience.
